Brian Glynn, P.E. has over 17 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry working on a wide variety of infrastructure projects, primarily involving water and wastewater. Brian is currently a licensed professional engineer in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

My Story

Brian is a lifelong resident of Johnson County, Kansas and customer of WaterOne. Brian grew up in Overland Park and attended Shawnee Mission South High School. Brian earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC). Brian currently resides in Leawood with his wife, two children, and a goldendoodle.

Brian started his professional career with Kissick Construction Company, Inc. where he oversaw and managed a variety of infrastructure projects, mainly in the Kansas City area. Brian also previously worked in the Water Division of Black & Veatch Corporation where he designed and oversaw construction of water infrastructure projects throughout the United States, primarily involving pipelines, tunnels, and dams. Brian currently works at Freese and Nichols, Inc. where he serves as the Tunnel and Trenchless Practice Lead and Project Manager. At Freese and Nichols, Inc. Brian leads the design and construction oversight of projects involving tunneling and trenchless technologies primarily for the conveyance of water, wastewater, or stormwater.

Brian currently serves on the City's of Leawood's Stormwater Management Committee and is the president of the homes association where he resides.

​

Brian is running for the WaterOne Board to give back to the community he grew up in and now raising a family in with his expertise and experience as a licensed professional engineer in the water industry.
